What we collect
- Account data from Google sign-in: name, email address and profile picture.
- Credit history: purchases, usage, refunds and adjustments.
- Usage records: time of each generation, input and output length, cost, and a hashed IP address used for abuse prevention.
- Payment records from our payment provider: what you bought and when. We never see or store your full card details.
- Saved stories (signed-in users): the settings, character notes and chapters of stories written with credits, so you can read and continue them. Delete a story at any time from your library.
What we do not store
For one-off generations, the text you type into the tool and the generated results are sent to our AI model provider to produce your result and are not saved in our database or logs.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the service:
- Hosting and database providers.
- Our AI model provider, which receives your input to generate a result.
- OpenAI's moderation service (if enabled), which receives your input and the generated text to check them against our content rules.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, to check that requests come from humans.
- Google, for sign-in.
- Our payment provider, to process purchases.
- If enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how the site is used.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies to measure usage.
Retention and your rights
We keep account and credit records while your account exists and as required for tax and accounting. You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by emailing support@fanficwizard.com.
